Nathan’s Diary part 9: The Fae Summit

In
the morning I decide to go along and try and get some merchants to take the
newly packaged crystals. I have some success.
Later
I receive a trump contact which I try to ignore. When it is pushed I let it
through. It is Random. He pulls me through to a shadow that I later discover is
called Earth. He tells me that the flat we are in belongs to Sarah, daughter of
Corwin, and that she has been gone for maybe ten years. He thinks that her
disappearance may be related to Corwin's. He asks me to look for her while he
continues to look for Corwin and then leaves through the front door.
From
a picture I see that Sarah Corey has short dark hair, is of medium build and
quite muscular with it. She resembles Corwin. In the pictures she seems giggly,
in her teens, but careworn later in life.
In
the address book there are not too many recent boyfriends. From a phone bill I
discover that it has been six years since she left, today’s date is

the guest bedroom there are some clothes in Corwin's colours which seem more
appropriate than my desert garb, so I decide to make use of them.
I
find a diary. The mail has been picked up for a while. There are a couple of
letters from her solicitor firm from which I can tell she left in August 1989.
It looks like she had not spent long planning her departure. There is an atlas

damned predictable. In her files. I find some
information. Construction has been stopped on a nearby site due to eco and
heritage groups who have unearthed indescribable findings. I realise that the
flat has really high security. Ringing Sarah’s mother’s rest home I infer that
she is dead.
Using
some of the gold, I get a passport and plane ticket.
